Preview

Lots still going on and today is a sneak preview of some new products available in the next few days from Stampin' Up.

I shall also be launching a second blog (yes, I'm mad) to promote just Stampin' Up products only - this blog will still cover all the other crafty business I get up to and hopefully some quilling!

New products on this card are mainly freebies available with a £45 spend during sale-a-bration - there is some lovely paper, a fab embossing folder, some gorgeous thread, a banner punch with matching stamps and a Petal Parade stamp set.

I've also sneaked in another use of the one of the tag topper punches.

I look forward to filling you in on my new blog shortly and tempting you with some new lovely treats.

Happy Birthday

Thought I'd share this today as I got a call from my friend Sarah when she opened it as she was so pleased (and surprised) with it.

I stole the pics of her cute doggie from Facebook.  One picture is from when the pup was new to them, the second before she had a haircut last week!

I imported them into DOCrafts Digital Designer and made a pyramage of each pic.
Base card is from the stash and a gold lined one which is rather nice, I've used this for layers too.
Some paw print card added and an SU sentiment embossed in gold.

Bubble Blooms birthdays

Still here!
Very busy behind the scenes at the moment and today I have 2 cards to share for the next set of special birthdays.

I have used the Woodware stamp 'Bubble Bloom - Teresa' for both of these but in different colour ways.

This one was stamped in black for the base image.  I then stamped it again on silver and paper pieced the leaves.

The stem and swirls have been sparkled up with a copic spica pen.

The circles on the bloom have been filled with a selection of card candi, gems, liquid pearls and stickles.

Computer generated sentiment and layered to match.

The lovely purple card is a 7x7" from Anna Marie.

The second card has been mounted on the same size but kraft card this time.

The leaves were stamped on gold pearl paper and a similar assortment of embellishments were added to the bloom but in different colours to match the card.

The stems and swirls had a touch of gold spica on this one.

I had meant to sponge the edge of the top layer of card but got carried away with the sticking down so thought I had better run with it!!

Wedding favours (and a sneak peek!)

A picture from my mobile today so apols if quality isn't 100%.

These are a couple of favour samples I've made for the Wedding I have been doing the stationery for.

I've made a few samples before but the finished product depended on what sweet treat was going to be used.  The bride and groom have now ordered some mini love heart packs with their name & date on.

These little holders are made from a strip of card, scored at several points and each end has been punched with a different forthcoming Stampin' Up punch - I think they are fab!!

A now discontinued set 'confetti' provided the stamps for the hearts and a couple of different punches and stamp sets were used for the 'just for you' sentiments.

The finished item will be a combo of these two so no doubt they will pop up again.

ps. get saving for those tag punches :-)

You are invited

Well, the crafting year started in a very similar fashion to the end of last year with some more Wedding Evening Invitations!

After the previous delivery there was a small dispute over amount of people so here are another 30 Evening Invites to keep everyone happy!!

Moved on to playing with ideas for favours now so watch this space.

Hope everyone is keeping dry - some of the roads round here keep getting blocked and there doesn't seem to be any let up at the moment.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year to anyone popping by!

I can't believe all that effort and chaos is over and I'm now back to work!
Had a lovely Christmas though and a well earned rest - a little too restful sometimes but not to worry.

After catching up with all the family on Christmas day we went on a lovely walk on Boxing Day on the ranges at Lulworth in Dorset from the deserted village of Tyneham.  It's a lovely spot and the day was gorgeous (more than can be said for the past couple!!).

We walked 7.5 miles (apparently) and this was later in the walk and a beautiful spot - although the walk then did entail us walking up the hill opposite which took a bit of doing although worth it for the view.

Now to crack back on with some crafting as there is much to be done!!
