SU Evening

I was lucky enough to be asked along to another Stampin' Up evening recently.
This is the make and take we did - it's not 100% straight but there we go!

The textured yellow card for the base is lovely and is layered with a piece of their paper, which is double sided - it did seem a shame to stick the other patterned side down!

The white card has 2 corners rounded using the corner punch. Some lovely daffodil delight taffeta ribbon is wrapped around the paper layer and tied into a knot. This is emphasised by using the 'word window large' punch to cut away a section of the white card which I think is rather effective.

The stamp is from one of the sale-a-bration sets currently on offer. The flowers are punched out using the boho blossoms punch and a brad in the centre to pick out the colours of the card. A Thank You punch also ties in the colours.

Thanks to Stevie for a great evening.

  1. Welcome back Jill - pretty card and I know what you mean about using double sided paper, it always seems a shame to stick one side down and not see it. I like the idea of punching out the slot for the ribbon - a bit different.
